A Life To Change
Living Waters Fellowship in Brooklyn always seems to come up with a 'steal' when I find myself in New York (I write that as if I'm a frequent visitor to the Big Apple. But I am not). Today, was no exception. In the morning we worshipped at Living Waters. In the evening, we worshipped at Hillsong NYC. Both services were great - really any opportunity to be in God's house is a blessing. But today, the service at Living Waters was the extra-special blessing.
Re-creation
This Lenten Season, I’m working with Beacon Hill Press’s devotional book “Ashes To Fire”. The book is a nice little annual publication put out by our denomination each year. And this past Sunday, in this little book, Bud Reedy explained the connection between salvation, grace and repentance very succinctly, saying “Without the fruit of repentance dangling from the branches of one’s life, conversion - life change - has not taken effect.”
